U.S. Congregational Vitality Survey
A great way to evaluate the progress of your congregation is to complete the U.S. Congregational Vitality Survey. Repeating the survey every three or four years is recommended so you can compare your congregation’s improvement in the relevant measures of congregational strength as well as opinions on other questions. Understanding this kind of information will be especially useful for determining “what's working” and refining your strategic planning for the future of your congregation.
We also recommend that congregations that have undergone substantial change over the past two years – either due to a recent change in leadership (particularly a change in the Rector/Vicar), or because sources of conflict or potential conflict have been dealt with – retake the survey.
Total cost is based on average Sunday attendance plus flat-rate shipping. Learn more about pricing and order survey forms here. Contact the Rev. Canon Stephen Rhoades to notify the diocese if you plan to use this survey.
