Description:
Immediate opening for 16 to 20 hours a week, Monday - Thursday mornings at the Church Office. $11/hour
Ability to work independently.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Publisher, Excell, and Word)
Ability to use Google Suite and WordPress Format to manage church’s website.
Church Office Software for finance program or other similar bookkeeping software experience will be helpful.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to mail pick up from the post office and bookkeeping, weekly publishing of Church Bulletin and Monthly Newsletter, and a weekly email to parishioners.
Also responsible for updating church membership software and managing phone messages, and make referrals to local assistance programs as necessary.
Knowledge of Episcopal Church Liturgy helpful.
Directly reports to Church Pastor and Church Senior Warden.
Works closely with Church Vestry (Governing Board) and Church Treasurer.
Responsible for yearly reporting to Episcopal Diocese.

This position is responsible for the church’s vendor relationships, service contracts, facility management, and technology, as well as management of the parish office.
St. John’s is a church of 800 members, with an average Sunday attendance of 240 in two to three worship services, and a budget of $950,000. The church is served by two full-time clergy and lay staff of six full or part-time employees, including a financial administrator, head custodian, and administrative assistant.
Salary Range - $18,000-$22,500.
