Immediately following the Eucharist, a reception celebrating the ministry of Andrew and Mary Waldo will be held. No registration is necessary.

Dear Clergy and Delegates to Diocesan Convention,
As we prepare for the 99th Diocesan Convention, please review the following information.
Christ Church, Greenville is serving as the host for this year’s convention. Please enter 601 E Washington Street, Greenville, SC 29601 in your GPS which will take you directly to the parking lot.
Before entering the All Saints Center, there will be a COVID Check-point. You are asked to fill out the attached form prior to your arrival to present at the COVID Check-point along with your record of vaccination or negative COVID test.
The main parking lot is located at 601 E. Washington Street. Parking attendants will be stationed to assist you.
Certification of Delegates will begin Saturday, November 3 at 7:30 AM in the All Saints’ Center. A continental breakfast will also be provided. Delegates are urged to complete certification by 8:30 so that convention can be called to order in the gym by 9:00 AM.
Diocesan Convention Manual
As an action of the 96th Diocesan Convention, we no longer provide packets for participants. The attached manual provides all of the materials needed. It is recommended that you download the document to your electronic device prior to your arrival. All documents are also available on the diocesan website using the link provided here. The WI-FI capacity at Christ Church will be sufficient for Business Day use only. Please refrain from linking multiple electronic devices to the internet. All reports will also be projected onto screens. If you have any trouble connecting to the internet or accessing your materials please let a diocesan staff person know.
Information regarding Voter Credentials, i.e., Vpoll log-in information for the 99th Diocesan Convention will be emailed Thursday, November 4 before 5 PM to all clergy and delegates that are granted seat, voice, and vote. Mr. Scott Casey, our representative from Vistacom Technology Services will send the correspondence to the email address you provided for certification. You will need to bring a smartphone or tablet to vote. If you do not receive the email please see Frank Ballard upon your arrival at Christ Church.
Change of Delegate Certification
Please note that the ONLY possible change that can be made to a delegation is a Change of Lay Alternate to Lay Delegate. The Alternate MUST have already been certified prior to the deadline – no exceptions. No one may be certified the day of Convention.
A reception for Andrew and Mary will be held immediately after the conclusion of Convention. Please plan to stay and wish them well.

With prayers of thanksgiving for our bishop, clergy (active and retired), parishes and missions, it gives me great pleasure to offer the official “Call to Convention for the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina.”
In accordance with Title I: Canon 3.1a of the Canons of the Diocese, notice is hereby given:
The 99th Annual Convention of the Diocese will take place on November 6, 2021 at Christ Church, Greenville, South Carolina, hosted by the congregation.
The forms for the Certification of Delegates and Alternates are included below.
To expedite future communications, it is important that you provide all requested contact information. Please note that there is a separate form for certifying alternates. All certification forms are to be returned to the Secretary of Convention either by email, fax or mailing original forms no later than May 6, 2021. Due to COVID-19, hotel information is not available at this time. Stay tuned for more on that topic.
