Incarnation being the Church
The Rev. Jenny Gettys describes how the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation has adapted to be the Church during COVID:
We’ve found a contact-free way to distribute food to our shoppers at Bread from Heaven, our monthly give-away:
We’ve opened our parish hall to our families with school children who need either internet access, adult supervision, or both while their children do their remote learning. With multiple protocols in place for sanitization, distancing, and air flushing, we’ve made it possible for working parents to provide for their children:
And we’ve thought of creative ways to be a unified community, like placing these signs in all our parishioners’ yards:
As our banner on our front lawn says, our doors may be closed but our church is still open!
