Commission on the Diocese

The Commission on the Diocese (COD) has as its primary objectives finance and administration and serves as the Finance Committee for the Standing Committee. It is the coordinating body for activities related to investment, finance, health and property insurance, stewardship, loans, audits, architecture, personnel, and institutions of the diocese.

The COD is co-chaired by the Vice-President of the Standing Committee. The Bishop nominates members of the COD and they are appointed with the consent of the Standing Committee.

The Commission on the Diocese meets quarterly, generally during the first month of the quarter. Recommendations of the COD are submitted to the Executive Committee for placement on the appropriate DEC or Standing Committee agendas.
