Summer Opportunities

Episcopal Church Opportunities

The Office of Young Adult and Campus Ministries supports ministries of, to, and with young adults (ages 18-30) both on and off college campuses through the communities, resources and networks of the Episcopal Church. Through leadership development, networking across the church, gathering online and in person, and offering support through each diocese and province, we strive to create a community of leaders and young adults engaged in mission and ministry together.

Episcopal Service Corps

Episcopal Service Corps is a network of young adults ages 21-32 serving through locally organized intentional communities that are dedicated to:

  • Serving others in solidarity
  • Promoting justice in community
  • Deepening spiritual awareness
  • Discerning vocation
  • Living simply

The Community at the Crossing is a gap year for young adult Christians who wish to dedicate a year of their life to prayer, study, service in the city of New York, and daily community life. It is an ecumenical project open to 21-33 year-olds from all Christian denominations. Applications for the 2024-2025 cohort are available now; the program begins in September. Young Adult Service Corps

The Office of Global Partnerships oversees the Episcopal Church Young Adult Service Corps (YASC), which gives Episcopalians ages 21-30 the opportunity to connect with the Anglican Communion and live in a community abroad for a year. These young adults serve as teachers in church-run schools, work alongside development professionals who seek to empower their local communities, and participate in the daily life and ministry of churches and cathedrals around the Anglican Communion.
