Vocare is a weekend retreat for young adults age 18-30.

Vocare is a form of the Latin word meaning "to call." The Vocare weekend is a renewal weekend for young adults to join together for fellowship and discernment. Participants can expect a flexible schedule with time for listening, sharing, and individual reflection.

Vocare came into existence in Sept. 1980 when a number of Happening graduates met in Dallas, Texas, to plan the first Vocare weekend. The name of the ministry and the format of the Vocare weekend was chosen at a meeting in Dallas in Dec. 1980. Vocare National was established in Feb. 1989.
