2012-2013 Middle School Events

The Diocese holds two events for Middle School students (grades 6-8) each year:

10/26-28/2012 Middle School Fall Retreat

04/26/28/2013 New Beginnings

Junior High Events take place at Camp Gravatt, which is a rustic camp experience.  Housing facilities are open air cabins and platform tents equipped with cots.  Bathhouse facilities are located on each side of camp (gender specific) and these have separate facilities for youth and adult sponsors. 

Each person will need to bring:

• Pillow and sleeping bag or bedding - nights at camp can be quite cool, blankets or sleeping bags are needed!
• Towels, wash cloths and toiletries
• Flashlight  - most cabins and tents do not have lights
• Sun screen & Bug spray
• Clothes should be causal, but weather appropriate as we spend much time outside
• Closed-toed shoes for games and activities in the field are required.
• Swim suit & towel - usually one of the free time activities
