Committee on Courtesy's Convention wrap-up cracks us up!
This year's Committee on Courtesy, charged with wrapping up Convention events and thanking our gracious and exemplary hosts from Church of the Advent, consisted of the Rev. Rob Brown, with assistance from his son Zach.
Fr. Rob began by lamenting the fact that Committee on Courtesy reports had become exceedingly frivolous over the years, asserting that the time had come for a change. He was, however, ably assisted by young Zach, who encouraged him to switch horses in midstream, get down to brass tacks, and "come out" as the good ole boy he really is.
Armed
with a good-ole-boy shirt, hat, and chewing tobacco stash, our
one-man Committee on Courtesy set before us an acid test framed
by the refrain "You might be an Episcopalian if . . . "
