Important Convention information from Canon Clevenger
Using the form, Official Call to Convention, Rectors, Vicars, or Wardens submitted a list of delegates, clergy and retired clergy to be granted seat, voice and vote at Convention. During the September/October convocation meetings, these lists will be verified by the Deans and Lay Wardens. Any proposed changes to the list must be submitted to the diocesan house in writing by the Rector, Vicar or Senior Warden. (This includes moving an alternate to the role of delegate.)
This master list will be used when distributing packets at convention. Therefore, it is imperative that you check in with your Convocation Dean to ensure your delegates are listed properly. We are asking that all changes to this list be submitted to the diocesan office by October 5.
On another note, seating at convention will be by congregations. Only registered delegates and clergy will be seated at the tables. There will be a designated seating area for all guests and alternates.
Clergy Calendar
Celebration of new ministry of the Rev. Sean Joseph LaBat as the 4th rector of St. Michael & All Angels, Columbia, on Wednesday, September 27, 7 p.m. (clergy: white stoles).
