Good Friday Offering in support of the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East
Since 1922, Episcopalians here have supported the ministries of the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East through the Good Friday Offering. It is vital that we continue to share in this burden, and not let our brothers and sisters in Jerusalem carry the cross alone.
Where to send funds collected: Make your check payable to Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society, write Good Friday Offering on the "Memo" line of the check, and send it to:

Ordained Ministry Conference, May 8
For those in discernment regarding the ordination process in
the Diocese of Upper South Carolina, the next Ordained Ministry
Conference has been set for Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Church of the
Redeemer, Greenville. The conference will begin at 9:00 a.m. with
Morning Prayer and conclude by noon. To register contact Deacon d’Rue
Hazel at 800-889-6961 ext. 24, dhazel@edusc.org.
All individuals in the ordination process are required to attend this
conference along with their sponsoring priest and a potential and/or
current member of their local discernment committee.

The fall conference will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at St.
David's Episcopal Church, Columbia. It will also be held from 9:00 AM to
noon.
The 2011 conferences will be held on the first Saturday in May and the
first Saturday in November. Locations are not yet confirmed.
The DUSC clergy directory is still collecting those photos
If you haven't already sent a photo, please do send one now for the clergy directory we are putting together for the bishop-elect. The directory will contain contact information, parochial assignment, and a picture of each clergy person in Upper South Carolina. (Hint: you can use your picture from your church directory.)
You may submit an electronic or hard copy of your photo. Please send your picture to Bethany Human, 1115 Marion Street, Columbia, SC 29201. All printed pictures will be returned once they are scanned and put in the database. If you have any questions about the directory, please contact Bethany Human, 803.771.7800 x 19.
