Gravatt Sunday coming up February 7
At the 87th Diocesan Convention last October delegates passed a Standing Resolution declaring that "the first Sunday in February be designated 'Gravatt Sunday' and that Diocesan congregations celebrate by educating individuals about Gravatt’s ministry and encouraging individuals to support Gravatt’s ministry through prayer and special offering."

The DUSC clergy directory wants you!
In preparation for the arrival of Bishop-elect Waldo, we are putting together a clergy photo directory. The directory will contain contact information, parochial assignment, and a picture of each clergy person in Upper South Carolina. This will help the bishop-elect put names with faces in his first few months here. We are requesting you submit a headshot to use for this directory. (You can use your picture from your church directory.) If you do not have one, don’t fret. There will be an opportunity at upcoming clergy retreats to have your picture taken. You may submit an electronic or hard copy of your photo. Please send your picture to Bethany Human, 1115 Marion Street, Columbia, SC 29201. All printed pictures will be returned once they are scanned and put in the database. If you have any questions about the directory, please contact Bethany Human, 803.771.7800 x 19.This is also the perfect opportunity to update your contact information. Tentative 2010 episcopal visitations now online
The schedule of bishop's visitations for 2010 is now online. It is as accurate as we can possibly make it at this point in the transition. Please know that there will in all likelihood be some changes. We'll keep you posted!
Attention parochial clergy!
Parish and mission officers form online. Please complete by February 15!
Please submit the names of your parish and mission officers for 2010 using this online form. This information will be used to update the diocesan database, contact lists, and to compile the diocesan journal.
Once you have submitted names for junior warden, senior warden, and treasurer, you will be prompted to submit the information for your Christian Education, Youth Ministry, Communications, and Office Administration contact person(s).
Please submit this form by February 15. If you have difficulty completing the form, please contact Bethany Human, 803.771.7800, ext. 19.
