It is a Christian Community in action where leaders are formed into an effective apostolic team by studying together, working together, praying together and by supporting each other in their work in the movement. Consequently the Servant Community is not established to do something but to be something. The Servant Community is
A "Cursillo leader" is a Christian leader who feels called to make the Cursillo Movement his/her primary apostolate. They are one who has chosen to work inside the movement and have committed their selves to being a community of service to the Movement.... These are individuals who are capable of seeing the entire picture of the movement and are filled with a "holy awe" of the vision of Christian conversion that can be accomplished by the Cursillo Movement. The purpose of a diocesan movement is to implement the Cursillo method. The Servant Community works through committees. Vision and Plan for Servant Community Formation "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Mark 10:43-45) Vision: "A community of service to the Cursillo movement"
