Camp Gravatt was established in 1949 as a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina and continues to provide life-changing experiences for children and youth. Set on 250 acres in rural Aiken County, amidst towering pine trees and hardwoods and two lakes, the camp provides a wonderful environment for spiritual growth and nurture in an outdoor setting. Counselors are carefully selected for their Christian and personal maturity and for their interest in ministering and building strong relationships with campers. Here campers find a Christian community, which is accepting, friendly, and stimulating, giving campers the opportunity to make friends, learn new skills, become leaders, and grow in their faith journey. Camp Gravatt is known as a place in the woods that finds a place in the heart of every camper.
