On December 14, 2012, the unthinkable happened. Twenty children and six adults were killed when a lone gunman, Adam Lanza opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.
Grace Church memorial garden wins Margot Rochester Landscape award

A memorial garden, claimed recently from underutilized space on Grace Episcopal Church’s Lyttleton Street corner, now has been honored with the fifth annual Margot Rochester Landscape award. The late Rochester was a generous gardener, noted garden writer and educator who was active within the Southern Garden Historical Society.
Church audits due by September 1
Both the national and diocesan Canons require that a reliable and credible audit of the diocesan financial records and the records of every congregation take place annually. Those audits are due in the diocesan office by September 1. For more information, read the
